Shaka Privacy Policy
Effective date: on first publication
Shaka does not require an account and does not collect personal information.
What Shaka stores
- Device identifier. Shaka generates a random, anonymous identifier on your device, used only to store your saved spots. It is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking or advertising.
- Location. If you grant location access, your position is used only to center the map and find nearby spots. It is not stored on our servers and never shared.
- Crash reporting. Anonymized crash reports (via Sentry) help us fix bugs. They contain no personal information.
What Shaka does not do
No tracking. No ads. No third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. We never sell data.
Your control
Saved spots are stored against the anonymous identifier and can be deleted in-app at any time. Uninstalling the app removes all on-device data.
